This technology was originally envisioned as a sustainable way to desalinate ocean water to create fresh water for human and agricultural use.
This novel technology works by mixing air and water which lowers the fluid pressure at depth, and thus the temperature required to boil water. High Ground temperature availability is the limiting factor in the current application of geothermal energy, meaning Triton Technology can be located in almost any location around the world.
In addition economic feasibility is increased, as the drilling depth of the system is reduced by three times, lowering the cost substantially.
With today’s oil well drilling technology this technology can be put to immediate effect. A 6500 Acre-Foot per year system can be implemented for $40M, providing water and food for 5,000 people on 8,500 acres of land. In addition to nutrients the system also provides enough power for people to live with many modern conveniences.
Triton systems can terraform arid uninhabitable places like North Africa. This space can be created for refugees from wars, climate change, and overpopulation.
There are few clear upper limits to this technology. Man made rivers are entirely possible with vast capacity providing food and water to all.
