The Triton Project

This technology was originally envisioned as a sustainable way to desalinate ocean water to create freshwater for human and agricultural use.

In addition, economic feasibility is increased, as the installation depth is reduced 40% lowering the cost substantially.

With today’s oil well drilling technology this technology can be put to immediate effect. A 1250 Acre-Foot per year system can be implemented for $15M, providing water and food for 1,000 people over 2,500 acres of land. In addition to nutrients the system also provides significant power and heat, 20MW per well on a 24/7 basis.

Triton systems can reclaim deserts and cultivate them into productive lands. This space can be created for refugees from wars, climate change, and overpopulation.

There are few clear upper limits to this technology. We envision vast man made rivers providing food and water to all.
